Automatic valve test bench was manufactured in L-plan
In Cinkarna Celje, we set up a new valve test bench for automatic testing of ball valves, butterfly valves, control valves and valves actuators, which are manufactured in the Polymers’s section of Cinkarna Celje.
Legaline ATUM-C device allows the following tests:
- Measuring the moment of the opening, closing of the ball valve
- Leak test of valve seat on both sides. Test medium air, bubble method according to API 527, in accordance with EN 12266-1. With digital laser bubble meter Legaline Bubble Test
- Pressure strength test of the housing with water, visual method, pressure drop method.
- Leak testing of the spindle with water, visual method, pressure drop method.
- Leak testing of hatches, medium air, bubble method according to API 527, in accordance with EN 12266-1
- Type test – aging with the method of trimming the valve internal parts by repeatable openings, closings of pneumatic drive.
- Testing the functionality of control valves

New on site, on line PSV testing device Legatest in Italy
Company Innovistech in collaboration with BD Worldwide Italy are the new owners of the on line, on site safety relief valves testing device LEGATEST, which can be used for PSV testing under operation.
Upon turning over of the device we have conducted four day training at the headquarters of L-PLAN.
Innovistech is also interested in the rest of our products and cooperation in the field of intervening inspection services and testing, not only in Italy but also elsewhere in the world.

The company New Swiss is engaged in high pressure technology. One of their activities is also on-site, on-line testing the safety valves. With the testing of safety valves during the operation with Legatest device they want to expand the market in Switzerland and also in Italy.

Safety Relief valves test bench overviewed in Wafa Desert Plant Libya…
In the largest Libyan pumping station of natural gas and oil wells Wafa Desert Plant we overviewed the state of the valve test bench. The test device has been in storage for several years. It was necessary to inspect & Installed the valve test unit and carry out the training.
We also performed an inventory of all the pressure measurers (gauges, load cells…) for performing calibration.
We agreed that when re-visiting we will also qualify their employees for the inspection of quality processing of the sealing surfaces of valves.
We agreed also to perform the on-site, on-line safety relief valves testing presentation with Legatest device, developed and manufactured in L-PLAN.

Beside Slovenia where we yearly make approximately 1200 tests of the safety valves during operation, L-plan services perform also abroad. In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Libya and other countries, services are also implemented in the EU. We performed tests of safety valves during operation in the following thermo-power plants, refineries and chemical industry:

New Users of our Developed Testing / Inspection Devices
L-plan again recorded growth in sales of innovation devices for inspection, testing, calibration, measurement.
The second Legatest device for testing safety valves during operation was purchased from the company Valveserv, Austria as well as company Beyer & Beyer, Germany. Company EFCO India received the fourth Legatest device. Among customers from EU companies were SWB and L -plan Technologies, both from Germany. We also delivered Legatest device to Thailand – Master Pac , Tunisia – IMC Metroligie and Libya – INTECH .
“Legaline Valve test” devices are regularly delivered to stabile test units manufacturer Unigrind Germany. Final customers were: SIA Rosta and intra Tool from Russia, company’s Termodinamic Romania and COREMA Italy.
STS Gas Croatia used a Legaline mobile unit to test the safety valves and calibration of pressure gauges .
Complete range of Legaline Mobile Series Devices were delivered to the INTECH Company from Libya, namely: Legaline Valve test Unit (Safety and Industrial Valves Functional and Pressure Strength Test / Inspection), Legaline Manotest Set (pressure gauges and sensors calibration / Inspection), Legaline Pressure Strength Tests / Inspection System and Legaline Bubble Valve Leak Test Unit.
For Company UKRSPECTRANSGAZ from Ukraine we successfully developed Legaline customized device, which can be used for automated testing of safety valves, which are mounted on the train wagon tanks of natural gas.

L-plan handed over the valve test bench unit to the manufacturer HERZ
The test device Legaline ATUM-H is designed for testing valves characteristic during the production process of the HERZ manufacturer:
- Characterisitc of ball valves for technical gases according to DIN 3230 T5 PG3 in the production process
- Testing the flow characteristic of ball valves, pressure regulators, safety valves, control valves and other that were developed in Herz.

On-site Safety Valves and Pneumatic Control Units Testing, Valves Maintenance & Inspection
L-plan engineers performed on-site safety valves testing with the Legatest device in SES Kardia PPC Greece Power plant.
In the same time we performed also Pneumatic Control Units Testing and Maintenance / Inspection of some safety valves, In the period between 15.9.2014 and 22.9.2014.
L-plan successfully ended the development and production of new high accuracy testing device – Legaline CSPRS in 2014.
With new device all types of Pneumatic control unit devices (Pneumatic Supplementary Loading Systems) can be tested on-line, on-site, during operation.
Pneumatic control unit as same as spring loaded safety valves testing is performed according to standard EN ISO 4126-5-2013; Testing of safety valves for protection against excessive pressure – Controlled safety pressure relief systems – CSPRS.
Further testing will be performed in the month of November.
